We arrive in Greece: the final Schengen country before Asia.
In Episode 2 of our motorcycle journey from Rotterdam to Bangkok, we ride off the ferry in Patras and follow the coastal backroads of Peloponnessos. Zigzagging mountain roads, remote beach camps, and nights on top of mountains define our days as we balance heavy bikes, luxury self-reliance, and the joy of getting lost.
Greece brings us visa applications, and a rear-end collision Through a chance meeting with the Greek Transalp Club, we find ourselves repairing bikes in Thessaloniki and riding with new friends to the surreal monasteries of Meteora.
Visas approved.
The road east toward Turkey and Asia is open. Destination: Bangkok.
