I've owned this amp for a few months now, in as of itself it does not have enough gain for metal and is designed for modern rock, but the tone stack having a modern voicing and a lot of range I thought why not give it some more love and Chugga-Chugga?
This is not my go to amp for metal, but I wanted to really test and see if an overdrive gain stage could cut it. It's quite pleasing :) . Not if you do this at home i'd advise that you put a noise gate in the loop.
