Описание: Eddie began his career in finance before returning to his family roots by training racehorses. He initially focused on flat racing, but the arrival of Captain Cee Bee shifted the stable’s focus toward jump racing. Captain Cee Bee, who won twice at the highest level including at the Cheltenham Festival, raced for an impressive 10 years—a true testament to Eddie’s careful and patient training.

Patrick’s passion for horses and racing grew alongside his father’s training career. After finishing school, Patrick moved to England to work under champion trainer Nicky Henderson, spending five years as his assistant and working with some of the best jump horses in recent memory. He returned to Kildare with his wife, Harriet, in 2015 to join the family operation.

Family plays a central role at Harty Racing. Eddie’s wife, Marie, is one of Ireland’s leading veterinary surgeons and is deeply involved in the daily running of the stable. Their daughter Carolyn, who lives in the UK, contributes significantly by managing social media and riding out when she visits. Patrick’s wife Harriet, a keen photographer, provides much of the photography and video content for the stable’s website and social media, as well as regular updates for owners during their horses’ training.

Mulgrave Lodge is a purpose-built training yard located on the edge of The Curragh in Kildare. Designed specifically with the Harty family’s future as Curragh trainers in mind, the facilities offer a modern, well-equipped environment. Situated less than 1km from the state-of-the-art Curragh Gallops and Training Grounds, it provides easy daily access for the horses’ exercise and training needs.
