Описание: After Hitler converted Haus Wachenfeld into the Berghof and stayed on the Obersalzberg whenever government business permitted, it was hardly surprising that the closest leadership staff settled there too.
In the years 1937 - 1938 the Obersalzberg had to undergo the most radical changes, because in only a few months Reich leader Martin Borman transformed the former high altitude health resort known as the Obersalzberg into a restricted area, which in the following years was also declared the Führer headquarters.
This documentary will show for the first time, on the basis of previously unpublished film footage, both the extensive construction work of Bormann's most important projects on the Obersalzberg, as well as landscape shots of the Obersalzberg and the surrounding mountains. Unique aerial shots of the "Führersperrgebiet" (the restricted area for the Fuehrer) impressively convey the gigantic scale of the transformation of a mountain under the swastika.
