In this episode, we arrive at the Karoo National Park, a remote semi-desert in South Africa that feels worlds away from anywhere else. After driving up from Cape Town, we check in, set up camp under the blazing Karoo sun, and head out for our first game drive.

We spot ostriches, kudus, mountain zebras, red hartebeest, and even the tiny steenbok, one of the smallest antelopes in Africa. As the sun sets over the vast plains, the silence of the Karoo feels almost magical — a place where time slows down, and every moment feels like a discovery.
