Suuuuper late upload but here it is, a little look at when I got to visit the canals of Mexico City in Xochimilco meaning "place where flowers grow."
Here you can ride on a trajinera (kind of like a gondola) at a cost per hr. You can just relax and enjoy the scene as you cruise along the canal or have a Mariachi hop on your boat and start a party. So many things going on along this canal from "little islands" that are homes to green houses or dolls called la Isla de muñecas. So much going on here, I definitely want to go back :)
