Wildebeest Migration across the Mara River at the Serengeti Nation Park in Tanzania

I captured this video in late July 2025, from the south bank of the Mara River inside the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. From July to September, the direction of migration is supposed to be from south to north into Kenya, which is just north of Tanzania. Hence the direction should be from the bottom of the screen to the top, and a lot of wildebeests were migrating in that direction. However, we also saw quite a few crossing the river from north to south, i.e. from top of the screen to the bottom. This video shows the wildebeests migrating in the "wrong" direction.
