The Arab-Islamic summit came out with sharp criticism against Israel. Qatar stated that Israel’s ambition of bringing the Arab region under its influence is an illusion. Member states declared their full support. The summit also reached an agreement to establish a joint defense system among the Gulf countries. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump announced that Israel will no longer attack Qatar. He also reiterated his earlier claim that he had no prior knowledge of the attack.
