Not a very good match for Justin, finishing 9th in carry optics. Too many down points and a major malfunction (self induced by slamming the gun on the mag) separated me from the top of the pack early. I have done unloaded starts like that many times with no issues but somehow the rounds nose dived in the mag then I had another get stuck in the extractor after the mag change. I did continue to push and finished better than expected. I will work on tightening up my shots for Great Lakes Regional in 2 weeks.
