Living a creative life in Scotland | 8–14 February

Описание: This video documents a week in my creative life in the Scottish Highlands.

It’s a slower, slightly unusual week shaped by jury service, creative catch-ups, life drawing on the west coast, studio printing, and our monthly Drink & Draw.

We begin the week with coffee in Inverness and a quiet reflection on community, how it feels to now live and work somewhere that once felt uncertain, and how creative networks in the Highlands have grown over time.

Midweek is taken up by jury service, which shifts the rhythm of everything.

By Thursday evening, I’m driving to Ullapool for life drawing at An Talla Solais, slightly late and overthinking it, followed by a Friday studio day reviewing drawings, finishing prints, and preparing for Drink & Draw.

Saturday is a visit to Alchemist Gallery and making a small hand-drawn Valentine’s gift.

It’s another week-in-the-life, navigating creativity, and building a studio practice in the north of Scotland.
