So Adventurers, even when superheroes have bad days, they still step up and act super! They make the choice to act kindly instead of acting out and throwing tantrums. How do you feel when you have a bad day? What emotions do you experience? How do you act when you feel these things? Just like the superheroes, you have the choice to act up like a super villain, or act kind like a superhero. Yes, you do have the right to feel sad or angry or frustrated, but just remember that the way that you deal with these emotions is what counts. Like we read in the book, superheroes would never choose to hurt anyone, even if they are feeling mad or down. If you need to, take a little break to calm yourself down or even cry a little. Maybe tell an adult or a friend about how you are feeling. Talk about it, and they might be able to help you move from feeling bad to start feeling good again. If you calm yourself down first to control and get a hold of your emotions, then you’ll be on your way to being like a superhero once again! Ok friends, that’s it for today!
