I'm done with the game jam and it was, as expected, a big disaster(got a whole ass soundtrack and the game was never submitted. fml).
However, I was finally able to tinker with GuyEngine which I can really recommend!

It's a collection of classic PSX (and N64) sounds and you get a lot of mileage out of it and it's so simple to use. That's why I wrote a short piece in the style of those PSX RPGs from back in the day. Only non-GuyEngine addition is the electric guitar, which is Shreddage Hydra.
