247TV | Heavy rain fell in the area of Stara Zagora. An isolated thundercloud formed in the mountainous part of the district in the hours before noon.
Some streets in the lower part of the city turned into rivers for a short time. In the hours until midnight, cloud cells with the potential for torrential downpours and hail were still moving over the eastern regions of the country as well as across the mountains, NOVA reported. In the late afternoon, the processes are more active in the Middle Mountains (Strelcha-Panagyurishte) and in the East around Svilengrad, between Karnobat and Yambol, between Veliko Tarnovo and Targovishte, as well as around Dobrich.
