Programme Note:
Bunga Raya known as “celebratory flower” in Malay, it represents the celebration of unity in our multicultural nation, as well as stand for courage and vitality.
2022 is the year where the music scene started to grow and hope this music will give people find the courage to step out after the covid pandemic.
The melody is inspired by the Dondang Sayang and the four notes motif from Low Brass was inspired by the Malacca folk-song Jinkly Nona. Beginning of the theme represent vitality and the trio theme is courage.
