ICE DANCER opens account with ready Gowran win

Описание: Wootton Bassett filly Ice Dancer opened her account at the second of asking with a ready front-running success at Gowran Park.

A full-sister to Irish Derby runner-up Serious Contender, the 5/6 favourite recorded a half-length win under Wayne Lordan for team Ballydoyle.

Ballydoyle representative Chris Armstrong said:- “She’s a fine big filly. Things just didn’t happen for her, and she was far too green at the Curragh the first day.

“In fairness she still did plenty of things wrong, she’ll be better going a stride quicker.

“She’s one to really look forward for next year,she’s a massive big filly. She’ll be a lovely middle distance filly.

“She might go to the Silken Glider (Curragh on October 21st) next. Whatever she does at two will be a bonus.

“It’s nice to get another run into her and hopefully we’ll get one more in before the end of the season.”
