I always wondered why my dog was spending so much time by the old oak tree in the backyard. I was prepared for a chase, maybe even a mess, but I definitely wasn't prepared for a friendship like this. 😭
It started as a few weird barks at 3:00 AM, but when I finally checked the security cameras, I realized my dog wasn't hunting... he was waiting.
While most dogs see a squirrel and go into "chase mode," these two have spent the last few months developing their own secret language.
