I don't play many horror games, unless they've got a strong exploration element to them, like the Resident Evil series for instance. Bramble: The Mountain King is arguably not a horror game as such, although it undeniably contains many horrific elements. It's one of those quasi-platformer/puzzle games like Limbo, Inside or Little Nightmares.
I didn't massively enjoy those games, but Bramble has such a striking and appealing aesthetic that I felt determined to make the effor to properly play a game I wouldn't normally persist with.
