In this video, I take the Potensic Atom 2 on its first real-world flight and test its flight stability, handling, and camera performance in open landscape conditions.

The flight begins with a fully manual parallax orbit around the Barony A Frame. The movement is so smooth and precise that it appears almost indistinguishable from an automated point-of-interest orbit — a testament to the Atom 2’s excellent flight stability and control precision.

I also share my impressions of the new PTD-1 controller, whose built-in screen is exceptionally clear and bright, and whose ergonomics make it genuinely comfortable and enjoyable to use.

The video concludes with a relaxed cinematic flight toward Dumfries House and the surrounding Ayrshire countryside, accompanied by original music from Ellie Eastwood performing “Where The Winds Still Know My Name.”
