Описание: Road Safety Hackathon 2026, organized by the Centre of Excellence for Road Safety (CoERS), RBG Labs, IIT Madras, builds upon the strong foundation laid in previous editions and continues to advance the transformative theme of “AI in Road Safety.” The 2026 edition aims to catalyze next-generation, technology-driven solutions that leverage artificial intelligence, data analytics, computer vision, predictive modeling, and intelligent enforcement systems to address emerging road safety challenges across India.

With a focus on scalable, evidence-based, and implementation-ready innovations, the hackathon seeks to bring together students, researchers, startups, enforcement agencies, and policymakers to collaboratively design impactful solutions that can be integrated into real-world governance frameworks.

The Road Safety Hackathon 2026 is being officially launched at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, positioning road safety as a national priority within the broader AI transformation agenda and reinforcing the role of AI as a critical enabler of data-driven mobility governance and life-saving interventions.
