This may look like sushi… but it’s actually a crispy chicken roulade wrapped around nori and fresh vegetables, then breaded and fried to golden perfection.
In this video, I flatten chicken breast, use seasoned trim as a natural binding paste, roll it around nori-wrapped carrot and green beans, and finish it with a crisp breadcrumb coating. Once sliced, it’s served with spicy mayo and pickled ginger for that sushi-inspired presentation.
I’m showing you two different plating styles to demonstrate how the same dish can tell two different stories.
