Two Days, Two Formats! 🔥 How Racing Works at Loop One Festival 2026

Описание: Two competition days, two different ways to qualify, and just 15 athletes fighting for victory in each final! The 2026 Loop One Festival in Munich brings the excitement of summer biathlon to the Olympiapark with a pair of Super Sprint competitions — but Saturday and Sunday have very different qualification formats.

On Saturday, athletes race individually against the clock, with the 15 fastest advancing to the final. On Sunday, they battle head-to-head across four qualification heats, with the top three in each heat and the three fastest remaining athletes earning their place in the final. Both days end with a mass start over five laps and four shooting stages, with no spare rounds and a 60-metre penalty loop for every miss. Here's everything you need to know before the racing begins!
