Описание: On this National Day of Mourning, we pause to grieve the horrific Bondi attack and the 15 precious lives lost — our Jewish brothers and sisters, taken in an act of unimaginable hatred.

In this special edition interview, Rabbi Isaac Riesenberg shares personally of the pain, trauma and loss still felt within the Jewish community, while reminding us of the importance of unity, compassion and standing together against antisemitism.

We mourn the lives lost in this devastating attack and pray for all who have been injured, traumatised, or deeply affected. We bring the families and loved ones of the victims before God, asking for His comfort, strength, and peace.

We pray for Jewish Australians who are grieving, fearful, or hurting, and we unequivocally reject antisemitism in all its forms. We also extend our gratitude and prayers to the first responders, as well as those that risked their lives to save others.

The theme the Chabad community has chosen for this day of mourning is:
“Light will win, a gathering of unity and remembrance.”

Today, as many grapple with fear, anxiety, and despair amid the darkness in our world, let us not be ashamed to share the true Light and hope of the world - the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
