Rising Together is a short film highlighting our statewide initiative to support American Indian and Alaska Native survivors of violence through culturally centered education, collaboration, and healing. This film shares the heart behind the Rising Together program — a movement grounded in community, tradition, and the belief that safety and wellness are collective responsibilities. In partnership with Urban Indian Health Organizations across California, Rising Together works to strengthen culturally rooted responses to violence, increase awareness, and uplift Native voices.
This film was created in partnership with Condor Visual Media and made possible through the generous support of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation and IllumiNative. At its core, Rising Together is about resilience, honoring survivors, and building a future where Native communities are supported, protected, and thriving.
