In this explore we do a short video of an abandoned observatory in the north of England. Went up for another explore that didn’t work out so this was the back up explore.
History
The old site of a university observation site in the north of England. Used up to the early 2000s. Until the land and nearby house was sold off then turned in into a hotel. The site was left to decay after this happened. There has been many attempts to save the 24 inch newton reflector as it has some historical significance. However as always time will tell to see if any action is taken.
