FACULTY SPOTLIIT, is an Initiative by IIT Delhi's Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives. It aims to highlight the academic and scholarly contributions of faculty members through short videos. This initiative is a heartfelt tribute to the dedication, knowledge, and wisdom of our faculty members.
Prof. Banerjee’s research group focuses on vibration control using metamaterials, integrating fundamental mechanics with practical applications. Their work spans waveguiding, vibration isolation in railway and civil structures, and the enhancement of fatigue life in wind turbines and renewable energy infrastructures. The team’s innovations aim to bridge the gap between advanced theoretical modeling and sustainable engineering solutions.
