Every morning, Dahabo Aadan walks from the camp and deep in the city with a simple call, “Laundry, anyone?” Behind her humble request is a story of extraordinary strength.
A mother of nine, living in a makeshift shelter, Dahabo washes clothes to provide for her children, day by day, dollar by dollar. Her story offers an intimate glimpse into her world, where survival is stitched together with love, faith, and quiet resilience.
“There’s no guaranteed income—I go out every day hoping to find work and if my children are hungry, there’s no joy for me.” She says
She explains that every day is uncertain, and her biggest worry is what her children will eat. For her, their happiness is the only measure of peace.
