Beautification will continue after G20 Summit, agency will maintain fountains, statues: Delhi govt

The Delhi government will extend its beautification efforts to all parts of the national capital after G20 designated parts of the city witnessed a facelift for the international summit.

Delhi's Public Works Department (PWD) minister Atishi said 1,400 kilometres of roads under the PWD will undergo a makeover, encompassing beautification, redesigning, improved lighting and landscaping.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
