The Airport Fire and Rescue Service has unveiled their new blue fire-fighting kit replacing the golden yellow ones. The new uniform will ensure the firemen have the essential protection to deal with a full range of fire and rescue incidents and includes boots, hats and gloves.
A number of fire fighters also recently completed training courses. Minister for Airport Fire and Rescue Service, Gilbert Licudi, visited the airport Fire Station to inspect the new kit and present certificates to those who successfully gained qualifications.
