My Journey to Fluent English: Practicing Alone

Описание: I grew up in Myanmar and as a child growing up in an isolated country with limited resources and opportunities, I learned to be creative and resilient. We can always find ways to get around our roadblocks if we really want to reach a certain goal. Now I work as an assistant professor at a university in Japan teaching English as a foreign language. I’m the only Myanmar national who holds this position. I take pride in it but I am also humbled by my experiences and the experiences of those who come from similar circumstances as myself.
