The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, alongside the Interim National Committee of the Labour Party, led by Senator Nenadi Usman, has visited the party’s national secretariat to assess the extent of damage following Tuesday night’s attack by suspected vandals.
The inspection comes amid heightened tensions within the party after unidentified individuals reportedly broke into the premises, damaging property and disrupting operations.
Senator Usman and NLC officials described the incident as unfortunate and assured party members that measures are being implemented to strengthen security and prevent a recurrence.
