Shinobi SMS first time playing this game

Описание: Prior to me trying this version out, the only other one I played was the one for the NES, and while I can say that the Master System version is better, still, from what I played, is still crap to me, just not utter crap. Mostly and I'll say this for both version, they actually play fine, it is one really awful flaw that keeps these from being really good games, the juggling.

When getting hit by enemies or projectiles, you can be hit once and chain reaction starts where you get hit multiple times until you are dead, especially if trapped or knocked against the edge of the screen and there isn't a darn thing you can do about it to escape your fate, at least none that I know of (perhaps there is something I'm clueless on, but I don't think so).

What I do like better in the NES version though is being able to super jump up high anytime, so when I started playing the SMS version I was like, okay, what am I doing wrong, but then found I could only do it at the highest part of the lower ground level. What I like better about the SMS version is the graphics and sounds, and the first boss Ken Oh, is taller, and I found it so much easier to avoid his homing fireballs, while the NES one can be cheaply difficult.

Oh this trial play I made it to the helicopter boss, I actually forgot how to damage it, don't remember if I had to hit the helicopter itself or a certain amount of ninja, either way, doesn't matter as I have no interest in playing it beyond what I did.

I had beaten the NES version many years ago (which at the time was one of my most overdue backlogs from the very first time playing it back in the late 80s, to finally beating it) and once I had it beaten a couple of times did it without dying, this back in 2008, and hadn't played it since. Don't think I have the patience for that again.

Shinobi has been one of those games that I so much wanted to like but hated it every single time I played it, even those times that I beat it, I still hated it. So, yeah, not much difference with the Master System one in that regards.
