An uninstalled demonstration of the Paxton Switch2 access control system.
The Paxton Switch2 is a standalone access control system controller. Unlike many of the cheap kits available on Amazon.etc, the control board is designed to be mounted on the inside of the room being secured. This means if someone unscrews or destroys the reader, the door cannot be opened by shorting the contacts or wires because the relay which opens the lock is a separate circuit.
