The bittersweet end to my Mindanao trip ✈️ | Divine Mercy Shrine (Northern Mindanao DIY Episode 3)

In this final chapter of my Northern Mindanao DIY series, I’m wrapping up an unforgettable week in Cagayan de Oro (CDO). Before heading to the airport, I made sure to visit the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador. Standing there, looking out at the view, was the perfect moment of reflection I needed before returning to reality.

There’s a specific kind of feeling you get when you’re at Laguindingan Airport, waiting for that flight back to Manila. It’s a mix of being exhausted from all the adventures in Bukidnon and Camiguin, but also feeling so full because of the people I met and the places I saw.

Doing this entire trip DIY was a challenge, but it was so worth it. Northern Mindanao, you have been so good to me. I’m leaving a piece of my heart here, but I know I’ll be back. 🏙️✈️
