Wrexham AFC Kop Stand construction is edging closer to one of the biggest phases of the entire project. Despite mist, rain, and difficult flying conditions, today’s update from the Wrexham AFC Kop construction site shows clear signs that the slipform stage is approaching fast. Formwork is now being installed around the lift shaft area, a key step before the vertical concrete cores begin to rise. You can feel the momentum building as the site prepares for one of the most intense periods of construction so far.
Backed by the vision of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the new Wrexham AFC kop stand is moving steadily from groundworks into the structural phase. With rebar, excavation, membranes, and formwork all coming together, the countdown to slipform is well underway.
