Описание: www.iyilikhane.org.tr - We, Iyilikhane Child Association, carry out activities to fulfill the human, cultural, social, material and intellectual needs of orphans and disadvantaged children.

Our activities started at Boğaziçi University in 2011 with the designing of bookmarks which we made and decorated by hand and then sold to raise money for charity. We thus started the Bookmark Project, a movement which gained the support of thousands of students across Turkey. We produced and sold not just the bookmarks, but also notebooks, keychains, pins and stationary. With the money we raised, we funded the following projects:
21 cataract surgeries across the continent of Africa
The building of an orphanage for 46 in Malawi, one of Africa's poorest countries
The building of a school in Pattani Province, Thailand which provides education to 360 students, 100 of which are orphans
Through the Orphan Sponsorship Circles Project, we have bought hundreds of charitable people together and support hundreds of orphans through a monthly donation of 125 TL.
As a result of our voluntary work, we decided to take our activities to a more professional level and we therefore established Iyilikhane Association in İstanbul in 2014. As Iyilikhane, we have achieved the following:
The building of Iyilikhane Orphanage in Bangladesh, which opened in April 2018, where we house and support the secure and healthy development of 170 orphans
The establishment of bamboo shelters, playgrounds and child education centers in the refugee camps for Arakanese in Bangladesh
A monthly 125 TL sponsorship of 418 orphans in Turkey and abroad
Monthly food aid provision for more than 200 children in Istanbul
The provision of Eid clothes before the Eid festivals and of winter clothes in the cold seasons for thousands of children
The provision of stationary sets for children before the commencement of the school period.

We know that those who suffer and are most adversely affected by crises including poverty, wars and natural disasters are children. We therefore aim to design and provide resources for projects which meet children’s material and spiritual needs. With our network of nearly 4000 volunteers from 75 cities, we aim to gather as many charitable people as possible and thus to improve the human resources in this field. We dream of a world in which there is no child who is not looked after.
