Homemade Vinaigrette + Cooking a Garden-Fresh Summer Meal

Описание: I start this video in the kitchen with fresh garden vegetables — purple potatoes, beans, basil, and edible flowers — and show you how I turn them into a simple, garden-fresh summer meal.

You’ll also learn how I make vinaigrette without a recipe, using basic ratios and chef techniques, as well as how I build flavor with what I have on hand. This is not about fancy recipes — it’s about using what’s in season and letting the ingredients lead.

Lemon Vinaigrette:

1 part lemon juice
3 parts oil
*Add the flavorings you like to taste (garlic, shallot, honey, herbs etc.)

** If made with all olive oil (my personal preference), I also use it to flavor grilled meats like fish and chicken. Adding oregano and garlic makes it even better!

Red Wine Vinegar Vinaigrette:

1 Part Red Wine Vinegar (I used 1/4 Cup)
3 Parts Oil (I used 3/4 of a Cup)
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon minced shallots
1/2 tablespoon honey
2-3 sprigs of thyme
