Governor-General Samantha Mostyn delivers her Remembrance Day address at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
“In my months since my swearing in as your Governor-General and as Commander and Chief of the Australian Defence Force, I have experienced many times of reflection on what service really means and the ways in which we commemorate,” Ms Mostyn said.
“The Australian Defence Force is a modern force, upholding the greatest of Australian values, continuing the legacy of generations past and demonstrating the very best of our nation.”
