These are a few symbols that you will see commonly in algebra. You'll also notice some of these common comparison operators in other applications such as different coding languages.

The 8 most common comparison operators in algebra are: greater than, less than, greater than or equal to, less than or equal to, equal, not equal, approximately equal, approximate.
