Lofoten Islands (Norway) BEST Photo Locations (+ Compos & Other Tips!) - Leo's Photography Guides

Описание: I've been thinking about doing a video on this location for years. Finally - this year all things fell into place and I had some time in the area to dedicate to a vlog, so I did!
I decided to talk about 8 locations - which are not the "absolute" best ones (is there even such a thing?) but more like my personal favourites out of all the places in the area.

All of these locations can easily be found along the main road that crosses the Lofoten Islands north to south, the E10 (or at most they are a few minutes de-tour from it), in the area between the little town of Leknes and the very last village at the end of the archipelago called Å i Lofoten, which marks the end of the road!
In such a short bit of road (approximately 60km or 35 miles) - you can easily spend a week shooting a multitude of different locations - from frozen fjords to idyllic fishermen's villages, rough waves to pristine beaches. Sounds fantastic, right?
Now you might have a question wandering in your head: "yes Leo - this is fantastic, but where should I go? At what time? What's there to shoot?" And you'd be right. It can be overwhelming, or even scary, to plan a trip to the Arctic (specially in winter) on your own if you've never been there before, so I decided to try to give you a little help!

In this video, as previously mentioned, I listed my 8 favorite locations to capture pictures in the Lofoten - and for each place I gave a little description of the possible compositions/subjects to shoot and at what time of the day you should find yourself there in order to get the best light (spoiler: sometimes it's at night!).

I really hope this little guide will give you some ideas, suggestions and help you prepare the trip of your lifetime to the Lofoten Islands - a stunning little angle of the beautiful country of Norway!
