Описание: Episode 7 of the Michigander series continues my journey of exploring what my beloved home state of Michigan has quietly waiting to be discovered.

I wake up in my Woodland Realm—my place of zen, peace, and self-care—far from the noise and rush of city life. With my trusty no-build SUV camper, Gamora, by my side, I’m greeted by something unexpected: life everywhere. White-tailed deer moving freely around me, reminding me how alive this place truly is.

From there, I head northwest to Manistee, MI, chasing down a hidden Michigan gem I never imagined I’d find here—a Giant Sequoia. Standing 116 feet tall, the Michigan Champion is the largest Giant Sequoia east of the Rockies, and seeing it in person felt surreal.

This adventure proved something I keep learning over and over again:
Nature hides surprises around every corner—but they don’t just reveal themselves. You have to hunt for them. The payoff? Pure, unscripted majesty.

I’m endlessly thankful I chose to explore the outdoors more deeply than ever before. I feel alive—and I’ll do whatever it takes to Stay Alive.
