In this demo, we take a look at how you can slide on Veena to produce smoothly connected notes and also look at bending a string ( pulling on a string ) to produce a note at a higher pitch which is an essential element in playing Indian classical music. This song however is a light music song which employs raga Asavari or Natbhairavi using light gamakas and slides as is the case with Indian film songs based on classical ragas. In the next demo we'll look at more string bending, slides and glides..
