We’re excited to announce the next episode of the PHA4GE Genomic Horizons webinar series, featuring a presentation by Dr Constantinides!
In this session, Dr Constantinides will explore the risks and trade-offs involved in making genomic sequence data safe for analysis and sharing, with a particular focus on the common challenge of removing human sequences from microbial DNA sequencing data. He will introduce Deacon, a software tool designed for bioinformatic host depletion, and demonstrate its practical use—alongside its broader applications for fast DNA sequence search and partitioning.
