After 5000kms of riding it is an excellent bike. Had zero issues with it apart from at start up it doesn't like to be revved, it will promptly die and will flood if you are not careful. That is the only thing!
Brakes are excellent, quickshifter is nice and smooth, I have the Akrapovic slip on system with the Ducati Akrapovic map on my bike from new and K&N air filter. Fantastic map, it really flies at full throttle and has excellent torque. It is 955cc but it is not in the same class as say a 1000cc Superbike. It has plenty of power for the road. Fuel averages around 5 litres for 100kms and I regularly get 240kms for 12 litres. It has a 17 litre tank. Headlights are top notch for night riding. Handling is good but I was expecting better. Tyre wear so far is excellent. It is quite a small motorcycle compared to 1000cc superbikes, very thin. It sounds awesome as Ducati V2's always have. I changed wheels to the Marchesini M7RS and you can feel the ride quality. The coating on them is amazing, any chain grease or dirt just wipes off very easily. The standard footpegs are very low which is quite comfortable however I changed mine to CNC Racing rearsets which has increased ground clearance for a little less comfort. They can also be switched over to GP shift just by attaching the shift linkage to an alternate bolt which is a good feature. I have the Stealth Mirrors on it with indicators attached but you can only see the tiny area of mirror behind you and have to move your head and arms out of the way to see behind you. I am contemplating putting the original mirrors back on even though they are terrible as well they have a bigger area of mirror to look behind you. Other than that I am looking forward to another 25000kms !!! I bought it to ride as a daily rider.
