The afternoon of the 27th of July 2022 saw me venture out to the lineside at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway to film something a little different. Following on from it's debut at the line's S&D-themed Cotswold Festival of Steam, LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 No. 46521 is currently on loan to the GWSR for the summer, visiting from the Great Central Railway. With the LMS Ivatts being amongst my favourite designs, the opportunity to get some footage of the loco during its visit to my local heritage line was simply too good to miss! In this video, we see 46521 in charge of service bound for Broadway with 7 coaches in tow, putting in some wonderful performances on it's travels through the Cotswolds.
