This is a cook along video so simple do what I do and when, before you know it you would have made a delicious Bombay aloo.

As this is a BIR style Bombay Aloo recipe you will need the following :
200ml Base Gravy -

Ingredients for Bombay Aloo
1 Chefs Spoon Oil
½ Onion diced with some diced green peppers
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Methi/fenugreek leaves
1-2 wedge tomatoes
Handful of fresh coriander
1 tsp garlic paste/finely chopped garlic (fresh garlic paste to get best flavour, avoid jar stuff)
1 tsp of Tomato Puree paste
½ tsp of Mix Curry Powder
Step 1
Add oil to hot pan, add garlic paste.
Step 2 (Soften the onions)
Add diced onions, cooked for 30 secs, then add salt, methi leaves and tomato puree paste and cook for a further 1mins approx, add some same base gravy to help soften the onions.
Step 3
Add you mix curry powder, mix well and add some base gravy to cook out the spices. Then add your precooked Aloo /Potato and cook for for 1min (remember not to burn the ingredients, if its to dry add some base gravy.
Step 4
Add 200ml of base gravy, mix well, add tomato and fresh coriander. Once the sauce is slight thick, oil has risen to top, our delicious BIR style Bombay Aloo is ready.
Garish with coriander and enjoy.
