🌻 ABOUT THE ALLOTMENT FAMILY DIARY 🌻

Follow our adventures as we navigate life on two, large allotment plots in Devon in the UK. The Allotment Family Diary presents a light-hearted, realistic and informative look at the daily running of an allotment.

We’ve never declared ourselves gardening professionals, but we do our research and are lucky enough to be given advice from allotment veterans at our site (many of which have over 20 years of experience of renting a plot at our site). We believe that running an allotment should be a fun and fulfilling experience, and we grow food to feed our family, and work the land to better our mental and physical well-being.

We’d love to share our journey with you!

🌻 NICK & TILLY 🌻
They acquired their allotment, which comprises of two half-plots, in 2014. Nick and Tilly are happily married, and Tom is their son. Alf the Lurcher (their dog) is 14 years old!

TILLY & NICK’S PLOT SIZE

🌻 TOM, HAN & FLO 🌻
They acquired the first half of their allotment plot in May 2023, and the second half in February 2024. Tom is married to Han, and Flo is their daughter. Tor is their dog who was rescued from an adoption centre in Romania.
