Today, we’re going to be talking about Katy Perry’s shelved debut album! The album was believed to have a release date of 2005, before being shelved and reworked in 2007, before being entirely scrapped.

Though these are believed to be two different albums by some, I’m going to refer to them as one body of work since many tracks were carried over between the two efforts, some even making it onto Katy’s debut, “One of the Boys”.

The album is mentioned in her 2012 documentary, “Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D”. However, all of the specifics are still rather murky. So please be aware that most information in this video could still be up for speculation.

Given the primary development period for this album was around 2005 until 2007, concrete details likely have been lost since the album eventually morphed into her debut.

I’d also like to state, the dates and years will be out of order due to so much conflicting information that is not solidified yet, and likely will never be unless it’s ever confirmed by Katy herself.

So let’s get into it, and discuss how this album came to be and what factors led to most of the songs being forgotten by Katy herself. There are some real gems that have been left behind
