Two years ago I made a coat for a LARP costume using a method called "crazy patchwork" - and I just didn't stop. This technique is so much fun and a great way of using up waste fabric and small fabric scraps or remnants
For this video I dug further into the history of crazy patchwork and discovered both the complexity of the Victorian sewing method and some slightly dubious Japanese links which ended up becoming an extremely long tangent, sorry not sorry, at least it's skippable
