Hi Viewers, please feel free to skip around this video, if you know the procedure in that section move on to the next. It's a long video as I'm trying to show some additional footage covering removal and installation. The fuel pump/sender hanger is a Honda unit, when removing the fuel pump just disconnect the red electrical connector at the top of the fuel pump and remove, no need to disconnect other connections. Adjust the fuel pump so it seats into the bracket, this will give you the recommended distance (~9 inches) from the hanger top plate to the fuel filter sock. There's a bit of a repeat as I was removing the fuel sender and pump plate, there were more 8mm screws than at first glance and I called a 15A fuse mm...must be breathing too many gas fumes (sorry.) Don't forget to reinstall the 15A fuse for the fuel pump. I've yet to test the baffle plate but heard good things about it and will be going to Sonoma Raceway in a month or two. This was done with a soft top in place, it would have been a lot easier if the soft top wasn't installed or if I unbolted the back of the soft top to gain access from the top. I don't monetize my videos so please don't be too critical, there are plenty of others that cover this procedure. Thanks for watching.
Update after Sonoma Raceway track day, the baffle plate worked well, did not suffer from fuel starvation coming out of turn six even with the fuel down to 1/4 tank, did not experiment beyond that and refilled the tank. It's a worthwhile investment in time/money if you are replacing the fuel pump at the same time.
