A nice walk around a favourite local spot , Rivington Gardens . plenty to do and see here . we had a nice walk up to the Italian lake which sits just below The Pigeon Tower . we didn't go up to Rivington Pike which is the tower in the distance on top of the hill.
From here we walked down to the Pinetum. A place where people can buy a plot to plant a tree on memory of departed loved ones.
we then headed for Liverpool Castle. A fantastic ruin built in 1912 as a replica of the original Liverpool castle.
Then we headed back to the car . ait was a nice day .
